The incidence, intensity and effects ofnematode infection in the Nile tilapia, Oreochromis nil otic us,

intensity of infection increased with the length of the host besides and it correlated with the onset
of maturity^ of the host. Factors responsible for the variation in the prevalence of the helminths ,
intensity of infection and their implications are discussed
