Abstract:
Uganda is endowed with abundant rainfall and good spils. These conditions favour
extensive forest formation leading to extensive forest cover .In reality this is not the
case due to human and animal influence. According to the Atlas of Uganda (1967)
the vegetation of Uganda can be subdivided into six main categories and the natural
forests fall into these categories as well
