Abstract:
Agroforestry is the growing of trees on farms to improve
the livelihood of the rural farmers and to protect
the environment. Trees on farms provide farmers with
high value products such as food, fruit, medicines,
fodder, timber, fuetwood, poles and manures.
Agroforestry provides one way of improving soil
fertility.
