Abstract:
The Africa Innovations Institute (AfrII), a not-forprofit non-governmental centre of excellence,
founded in 2005, is based in Kampala, Uganda.
AfrII is a young, dynamic and growing institute.
Its main mandate has and will continue to be
to undertake research innovations
on agriculture and food systems
constraints in order to accumulate
income and assurence of food and
nutrition security of the poor rural
and urban communities in Africa,
particularly in Eastern and Central
Africa.
