Abstract:
This fact sheet about Crops under genetic modification research shows crops that are under biotech research in Uganda as of 2018. These include East African highland bananas, potatoes, rice, maize, cassava and sweet potatoes which are being improved to address different breeding needs using different biotech techniques.
It also shows GM crops that have been commercialized worldwide.
