Abstract:
Last year, in Rural Radio Resource Pack 03-3, we looked at issues cencerning livestock health. This included a range of subjects such as prevision of vaccination services, keeping livestock healthy through good feeding and hygiene, and careful monitoring of animal health. In this pack on livestock disease we have decided to focus on eight diseases which threaten livestock - particularly catt_e, mats and sheep - in sub-Saharan Africa. Some of the diseases are also a threat to axnans.
