Abstract:
Also known as Azadirachta indica and a member of
the mahogany family meliaceae, the neem tree is a
native of India, South East Asia. It is a medium to large
sized fastgrowing tree with an attractive canopy. It
branches heavily and it starts bearing small sweet
scented fruits at 2-'E years, attaining maximum
productivity at 10-12 years when it can yield 30-100kg
of fruit annually. It lives up to 300 years.
