Abstract:
The shea tree (scientifically called Vitellaria paradoxa)
is known by several local names in Uganda: Ekungur
(Teso), Komure (Kakwa), Kinakongole Shea trees in the
(Lugwere), Awa (Madi), parklands of northern Uganda
Yao (Luo), Komoro (Lugbara).
