Abstract:
Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO - Uganda) has and continues to provide potential contribution towards general improvement of livelihood and achieving global food security. Financial support, inputs (planting materials) and knowledge are among the recognized support to the nation, Uganda in particular. In so doing FAO entered an agreement with Nabuin Zonal Agricultural Research and Development Institute (NabuZARDI) to train farmers in production and management of cassava and sweetpotato crops in the districts of Kaabong and Kotido.
