Abstract:
Uganda’s Rwenzori region also known as
the Western Highlands Agroecological zone
(WHAEZ) is a gem in the entire country because
of it’s unique weather. This goes as far back as the
earliest colonial times when tea was introduced as
a cash crop in Uganda with a focus on the area.
Some of the estates in the area were started as
early as 1912.
