Abstract:
Welcome to the maiden issue of the MBAZARDI
NEWSLETTER. Over the years, MBAZARDI
has contributed to the growth of the agricultural
sector in South Western Uganda.
In the dairy industry it has introduced alternatives
for dry season feeding. Dry season feeding had
previously been a challenge in cattle keeping
communities with some farmers losing as much
as 50% of their herds. In this issue we note the
transformation achieved by farmers through
alternative dry season feeding.
