Spider plat is known by different names across Uganda:
in Luganda, "Ijobyo", in AcholrAkeo" and in
Ateso,"Echador The scientific name of the spider plant is
Cleome gynandra. The leaves of the spider plant are usually
picked when green and eaten as a vegetable.
