Abstract:
Mukono ZARDI being in charge of the Lake Victoria Crescent agro-ecological Zone has a key role in disseminating NARO research outputs and technologies as well as following up their assess, adaptability and preference among end users. We use different approaches to reach our stakeholders through community outreach activities: surveys, radio talkshows, and training sessions among others. Mukono ZARDI engaged District political leaders and technical officers from the 22 districts of Lake Victoria Crescent Agro-ecological Zone in three meetings: meeting with the District Production and Marketing officers (DPM05) at Ntawo station, two of themeetings were organized in collaboration with Uganda Biosciences Information Center (UBIC) at NaCRRI, Namulonge, in February 2020
