Abstract:
Dairy farming is largely practiced in the western and southern parts of this nation. The highest
number of the farmers carry it out on a small scale but still contributing to 9% of the GDP of the
nation.
This project led to creation of a computerized records management system for the dairy farms
which solves problems of inaccuracy in records and lack of the very farm records. The system
keeps records of all cattle on the farm and monitors their productivity and health. The records
kept include; animal statuses, treatment, service, pregnancy and calf records. The system also
manages employee and milk distribution records with their various reports inform of graphs for
easier interpretation
