Passion fruit is a vigorous, shallow rooted,
perennial vine that climbs by means of tendrils
• It can grow as tall as 20 ft (6 m or 600 cm) high
and a more realistic life expectation is 3 – 5
years
• It is mainly grown for fresh market and juice
extraction
