Abstract:
The plant may rapidly cover the ground because of its short life cycle
(make seeds one month after germination) and abundant seed
production.
The weeds do not shade rice plants, but may compete for water and
nutrients.
This weed cannot tolerate deep flooding, and may be controlled by
water management.
