Abstract:
localized but chronic food insecurity is increasing in frequency and scope, and in addition the production and sale of quality products is rare. This situation is thought to be due to several factors among which is lack of enforcement of regular bylaws in the post-harvest sub-sector. It is also thought to be due to lack of a clear national policy on food security with a clearly defined strategy and regulatory mechanism in whole post-harvest sub-sector.
