Abstract:
Vitellaria paradox (' is a small to medium sized tree that grows to about 10-15 meters high, branches a lot and has a dense, spreading, round-shaped crown. In older trees, the trunk is short, usually 3-4 metres . with a diameter ranging from 0.3-1 metre. Its bark is thick and deeply cracked which protects older trees against bush fires. Its fruits are a yellowish green berry, 5-8 cm long and 3-4 cm wide, containing thick butter-like, slippery substance and a round-reddish brown.4Seed
