Abstract:
This CAS report provides the estimates of the quantities of fish landed in the riparian districts sharing the Ugandan waters of Lake Victoria; the monetary value of the fish catches; the contribution of different fish species to the total catches; and the trends of fish catch rates, total fish catches since the beginning of the current CAS activities, i.e. July 2005 to August 2006. The total annual catch and beach value are also estimated for the period October 2005 to September 2006.
