Abstract:
This study was conducted at the National Agricultural
Documentation and Information Centre (NADIC) to establish
its background, objectives, activities, services, problems,
achievements and established future strategies as a leading
Agricultural Information Centre in Uganda and a National
Coordinating Centre for AGRIS and CARIS. All these were
researched about with the major view of establishing the
situation of Uganda's Agricultural Information System and
to suggest recommendations for future improvement so as to
attain greater capability in information gathering and
dissemination which will enhance further agricultural
development.
The above objectives were investigated through
literature survey of both published and unpublished texts
and through interviews.
