Abstract:
During the first meeting of the Seed Pathology Committee of The International Society for Plant Pathology (ISPP) held in Munich, West Germany on August 18, 1978 it was decided that the Danish Government Institute of Seed Pathology for Developing Countries should make a survey of Seed Pathological Projects which are in operation in different laboratories around the world. A questionnaire was sent out by the Danish Institute to about 700 scientists. Information thus received constitutes the major part of this document. We are grateful to Dr. Claude Anselme (France) and Dr. G.E. Harman (U.S.A.) for supplying us the data they had collected separately on scientists working in different fields of Seed Pathology.
