Abstract:
This status report primarily serves as an input to the annual consultat_cns regarding the
Uganda Denmark development co-operation programme. These consultations are to take
place in October 2001 (the so called decentralised consultations) and November 2001
(with participaion from the Danish Foreign Ministry).
At the same time the status report serves to give a comprehensive overview of the
bilateral development co-operation programme.
The amcunts of Danish funds spent in 2000 in support of Uganda's .2conomic and socal
development re given on the last page of this status report. The total amount, as can be
seen, includes assistance provided through Danish NGO's in collaboration with their
Ugandan partners; as well as local scholarships. These types of assis . tarice are not detailed
in the status report, but information can be provided on request.
