Abstract:
The objectives of the seminar were: to build at both national and regional levels consensus views on the utilization of natural resources, economic and social policies and institutional environment, in order to ensuree livstock development on an effective, efficient and sustainable basis; to identify themes on which additional knowledge is required in order to facilitate formulation of livestock development policies; a to create awareness of policy- makers on factors which should be taken into consideration in formulating livestock development policies
