Abstract:

Milicia excelsa is one of the indigenous
endangered species in East Africa. It is popularly
known for its durable timber and hard
charcoal. It is also used for; erosion control,
shade, soil improvement and as an ornamental.
It can be propagated through seed. However it
can easily be multiplied using stumps.
