Abstract:
The Agroforestry Research Programme is one of the
four programmes implemented at the National
Forestry Resources Research Institute of NARO.
Simply put, Agroforestry refers to growing and
managing trees on farm for ecological and economic
benefits. It is an integrated approach of using the
interactive benefits from combining trees and shrubs
with crops and/or livestock, creating more diverse,
productive, profitable, healthy and sustainable landuse
systems
