Abstract:
Calliandra trees can increase crop yields by between 40— 60% and milk yields by one and half times. Calliandra is a small leguminous tree that attains a height of 1.7 m. It grows well in most parts of Uganda especially in areas with annual rainfall of 1,000 mm and non acidic soils.
